Project of six laning of Tumkur-Chitradurga section of NH-4 in the State of Karnataka under NHDP Phase V

The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure today approved the implementation of the project of six laning of 114 Km long Tumkur-Chitradurga section of NH-4 excluding Tumkur and Chitradurga bypasses in the State of Karnataka under NHDP Phase V on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) Basis.

Procurement of three new Trailer Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHDs) of 5000 cubic meter capacity each to replace three old TSHDs to sustain existing capacity of the Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI)

The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure today approved the procurement of three Trailer Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHDs) of 5000 cubic meter hopper capacity by Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) under the administrative control of Ministry of Shipping from M/s. IHC Dredgers B.V., The Netherlands, at a building cost of Euro 75,480,000 (Seventy five million four hundred eighty thousand euro) and 70,465,000 (Seventy million four hundred sixty five thousand euro) with a delivery schedule of 29 months and 35 months ex-yard for the first and second dredger respectively and the order for the 3rd Dredger at DCI’s option with Euro 71,910,000 (Seventy one million nine hundred ten thousand euro) with a delivery period of 41 months ex-yard. The total indicative cost for the project in Indian rupees is Rs.1570.21 crore.
